Writing again

After a long hiatus my love-hate relationship with sharing on the internet has come to this point. My blog is back. I actually like writing but just haven’t done it in a while. So now that this thing is official I promise to update more frequently and share the details of what goes on behind the scenes and my inspirations. I still have a lot of work to do here consolidating pieces of my thoughts from other places. Anyways, this is a start. Here we go!

Lauren Lawson dolled up by TE$$, shot by Soybaby for Sugarpill Cosmetics Eyelash Overdose 💖💊💎
We all ate Chipotle in the office because it’s right down the street and everyone can agree that it is super yummy. Lauren is a living doll and super fun on the set. Amy was excited to finally use her giant glitter bow. This was my second time teaming up with Tess on hair & make-up and she rocked again. We were assisted in the studio by fellow photographer Christopher Mackessy donning what Amy dubbed the “Bill Cosby” sweater. Amazing retouching and Berkeley sky photo background by Marburg.
Page Ruth + Tess + Soybaby for Sugarpill Cosmetics! 💊
I love shooting with Page—this is probably the fifth time we’ve worked together and she kills it every time. She reminds me of a Mark Ryden painting in this adorable Shirley Temple dress. We all stayed up way past our bedtimes that night at the Sugarpill office and I got completely loopy knocking things over by the time we wrapped up. This was the first time I got to work with Tess who was a dream to have as our make-up artist. We kept getting texts from Amy telling us to make Page look more psycho. After tons of hairspray and all kinds of Sugarpill rainbow love on the face, we called it a night.
